Our Leadership Team


Sam S. Lee, CPA, Practice Partner/Employee Benefit Plan Practice Leader, will be responsible for the

overall quality of the audit, and as such, will have primary responsibility for arriving at audit conclusions.

He will oversee and coordinate the delivery of all audit work and the completion of audit reports.

Throughout his 10 years of career with Big Four accounting firms, Sam has worked extensively with closely-

held companies, public corporations, and venture-backed entities. His specialty areas include traditional

financial statement audits, ERISA audits, mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, revenue recognition,

and due diligence. He has a wide-range of expertise in a variety of industries, including technology,

manufacturing, construction, financial services, real estate and healthcare. Sam is a graduate of New York

University - Stern School of Business where he received his BS degree in Accounting and Information Systems.

He is currently working toward a Master of Taxation degree at Georgia State University. Sam is a member of

American Institute of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs.



Sunghak Lee, CPA, Practice Partner, has more than 10 years of experiences in financial statements audits, due diligence, internal control related advisory services, and CFO/Controller outsourcing projects. He is currently serving subsidiaries of Korean/Japanese multi-national corporations, and medium-to-large local businesses. Prior to Joining LEK Partners, he performed financial statement audits for international companies headquartered in Korea, Japan, and Europe at KPMG and Warren Averett, LLC. Sunghak graduated from Korea University with double majored in economics, and Chinese literature.



Yong Seok Kwon, CPA/ ABV, CVA, CM&AA, PMP, Practice Partner/ Valuation Specialist, has more than 10

years of professional leadership experience in public accounting (Warren Averett, LLC), asset management

and consulting. He has a wide-range of expertise in audit, technical accounting, M&A projects for overseas

companies and business valuation. Throughout his career, he also advised on tax issues regarding business

start-up, capital formation and tax planning for businesses and individuals. Yong Seok earned his Master in

Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also earned his Master in Economics and

Finance from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea.
